THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE
Some people believe that the Bermuda Triangle is a mysterious area in the ocean that sucks in and destroys ships and aircraft that try to pass through or over it. The United States Navy says this area of the Atlantic Ocean is imaginary. The points of the triangle are thought to be Bermuda; Miami, Florida; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. But the Bermuda Triangle is not officially recognized as a real place.
The most famous disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle are a ship called the USS Cyclops in 1918 and the aircraft of Flight 19 in 1945. The U.S. Navy believes that the ship most likely sank because of an unexpected storm, and the aircraft ran out of fuel and crashed into the ocean. But no traces of the ship or the aircraft have ever been found!
