Meaghan's Brain
From Meaghan's sensory profile, it is pretty clear that the areas of her brain that are most impacted by her autistic processing are her Occipital lobe, her Parietal lobe and her Cerebellum. The frontal areas of her brain are functioning relatively normally. This does not mean that there might not be areas within each lobe that are more or less affected (for instance, Meg is an excellent speller and has no problem with color ID) But, for the most part, given her strengths and weaknesses, the above picture is pretty accurate as a general model.
This being the case, what this website is designed to do, is to use Meaghan's fore-brain aptitudes. Thinking, planning, problem solving, decision making, memory, understanding language, hearing, visual semantics, speech and emotion to build up her aft-brain weaknesses (hand eye coordination skills, visual and sensory processing).
